Ke Chen, PhD

Ke Chen earned his PhD from Donghua University in 2018 with his research focusing on nucleic acid testing. After graduation, he joined Labcorp Central Laboratory Services as a genomics scientist.

In his current role, Ke is responsible for method validation and test assay troubleshooting. He has extensive knowledge in the field of molecular detection methods, especially in qPCR and next-generation sequencing.

Jane Craig, PhD

Dr. Jane Craig is a Scientist in Flow Cytometry Validation Services at Labcorp Central Labs. She works with biotech and pharmaceutical clients to build and validate custom flow cytometry panels to be used during clinical trials. Panels span a variety of topics and therapeutic areas, such as CART cell persistence, receptor occupancy, immune-phenotyping, and functional testing.

Jane has worked in flow cytometry for 7 years and has experience with the BD LSRFortessa, BD FACSCanto II, BD FACSLyric, and Bio-Rad ZE5 and has validated panels with up to 17 colors.

Nadia Ayala-Lopez, PhD, MLS (ASCP), DABCC, NRCC

Dr. Ayala-Lopez is director of clinical chemistry in medical affairs at Labcorp Drug Development where she provides medical, scientific, and regulatory support for the Central Laboratory Services in the areas of hematology, clinical chemistry, special chemistry, analytical chemistry, and toxicology. She also serves as the medical laboratory director for Labcorp Bioanalytical Services in Indianapolis, Indiana.
