A workflow for oligonucleotide metabolite identification studies

ISSX NA 2023 -- Oligonucleotides have emerged as a promising therapeutic area, particularly for diseases where conventional drugs have not found success. Oligonucleotides are usually modified to improve delivery, stability and pharmacokinetic profiles. Metabolite identification (MetID) of oligonucleotides is essential to understand the metabolism, safety, and elimination within biological systems. Best practices for MetID studies of oligonucleotides are still being established. This poster presents a typical MetID workflow for oligonucleotides.
