Beekeeping is an important initiative supporting Labcorp’s commitment to biodiversity - the variety of life on Earth in all forms that works together to support everything ecosystems need to thrive including oxygen, clean air and water, pollination, natural pest control and more.
In support of this commitment, a number of sites have implemented pollinator action plans, designed to create habitats to protect pollinators including bees, butterflies, various insects and wildlife. Labcorp and employees have planted wildflowers, shrubs and trees to provide abundant dwellings and food resources for pollinators and are working with local beekeepers to protect bees and produce honey. They are ongoing champions of Labcorp’s sustainability efforts and our overall mission to improve health and improve lives.
