Antibodies to Citrullinated α-Enolase Peptide 1 (CEP-1) predict onset of symptoms in pre-clinical rheumatoid arthritis (RA), confirm the diagnosis of RA, and provide insight into the potential pathogenic triggers of RA.
This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Labcorp. It has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
