Steve Bonin is the quality director for toxicology/OTS and specializes in overseeing the quality management systems of the labs under his responsibility. He has been with Labcorp in this position since 2019, previously serving as director of quality systems for MedTox Laboratories for 11 years.
Steve has been with Labcorp for over 30 years through its acquisition of MedTox Scientific in 2012, previously working in various quality positions since 1998. He is currently working towards standardizing and improving quality processes at all toxicology/OTS labs. Steve is a graduate of Metropolitan State University where he earned an MBA and North Dakota State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and medical technology. He holds American Society for Quality certifications as a certified manager of quality/operational excellence and certified quality auditor. He also holds an American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science certification as a medical technologist.
